Looking to buy acai tea? Acai has become so popular that it was inevitable that at some point companies would start creating acai tea blends. You might well come to prefer acai tea over acai tablets - not only for the taste, but because at this point the tea form is often cheaper than juice or capsule form of acai.

Republic Acai Tea

Republic of Tea has just introduced two new teas with the new stars of the health industry.  You can buy the 3.5-ounce tin of Pomegranate Full Leaf Green Tea brews 50 to 60 cups for about $9.50. A 50-bag tin of Acai Green tea sells for about the same.

Other companies have introduced acai tea blends that you can find in your local health store.

Honest Acai Tea

If you're into saving the environment, Honest Tea has introduced its Pomegranate White Tea with Acai which comes in a recyclable container.

It combines three antioxidant-rich ingredients - pomegranates, white tea, and the acai berry with less than three teaspoons of organic cane sugar per serving to create a delicious, delicate tea. "Not only is it delicious, but Pomegranate White Tea with Acaí is high in antioxidants, low in sugar and contains nothing artificial. It's great because of what isn't in it as well as what is," said Seth Goldman co-founder and TeaEO of Honest Tea. Pomegranate White is available in a 16.9 oz recyclable PET bottle and is currently in distribution nationwide.

A study conducted at Pace University in 2004 showed white tea had more anti-viral and anti-bacterial qualities than green tea.

Cheia Vida Acai Tea

Cheia Vida is not a pure tea. It is, more accurately, an acai berry juice and tea blend. It originates from South America and combines  Açaí, Yerba Matè, Green Tea and Chá de Bugre. It's also advertised as an appetite suppressor drink.

Celestial Seasonings Acai Tea

The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. announced several new  flavored teas from Celestial Seasonings, North America's specialty tea leader.

They have just come out with their Tropical Acai Berry Green Tea which contains acai berries from the Amazon region and the flavors of tropical mangos and bananas and juicy strawberries blended with green tea.

Pulpa Acai Tea

Pulpa is an Anglo-Brazilian company that specialises in 100% pure and natural fruit products with a particular focus on the antioxidant ‘super-berry' acai. Their tea product is "Acai & Green Tea Infusion" which contains 25 individually wrapped tea envelopes. It contains a blend of acai and Chinese Sencha Green Tea.
